Dr Nisarg Hemang Shah

Dr Nisarg Shah is a senior consultant Psychiatrist practising in Surat for the last 8 years. Dr Shah did his MBBS from Sardar Patel University, Gujarat followed by MD Psychiatry from Sumandeep Vidyapeeth, Vadodara. He is also certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry by the Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health.

Dr Nisarg has served as a Chief Psychiatrist at Maroli Mental Hospital for 7 years. He comes with sound experience in dealing with psychological issues in children and adolescents. He has conducted multiple awareness seminars and lectures in schools and colleges for mental health issues especially in youth and adolescents.

While Dr Shah’s work focuses on children and adolescents with mental health problems, he also manages adult psychiatry including addiction and geriatric mental health.

Dr Nisarg generally gives from 20-30 minutes of time to each consult. Patients who would like more time with him are required to book multiple consultations, so that this can happen in an uninterrupted way.
